When I die

When I die. When life is emptied from this seed. When passions of my flesh cease. When laughter turns into grief. When I’m conquered by death’s greed.
When my body is hidden by the grave. Then heaven, my soul shall crave. Ascending towards the heavenly gates, Cherubim and Seraphim on my side. My soul rejoices, it is no surprise. For Love awaits me, with arms open wide.

When the heavens ululate. Be slow to grief my beloved, celebrate. Cry not my beloved, jubilate. Do not mourn this body my beloved, exuberate. And if sorrow holds you, the Lord will liberate.
