Precious Lord, Prince of Peace, Prince of life. Hear my cry oh Lord, I lift my voice to you in lamentation. I bow before you in supplication.

I am unworthy to be in your presence. My soul is filthy, tainted by the wickedness of my heart. My spirit seeks you oh Lord but I am a slave to my flesh and its carnal desires. As I draw nearer to thee, my flesh pulls me away.

Forgive me oh Lord and stir within my soul a longing for your kingdom. Chain my heart to the foot of your throne. Narrow my vision to the glory of your face. Deafen the unclean voices surrounding my ears. Engulf me with the fragrance of your sweet perfume. Seal my heart in your house oh Lord, so it may not wander to the desires of my flesh. Pin me to the ceiling of your house, so I may sing hallelujah with the angels.

Without you heavenly Father, I am like a fish out of the water. Without you precious lord I am a tree with no roots. Without you King of glory I am like a horse with no legs. Sweet Jesus without thee I am but just smoke with no fire. I need thee oh Lord. I need thee Father.

King of Glory, Lord full of mercy. Great is your name King who sits on the heavenly throne with Christ to your right hand side. Oh how powerful are you Lord most holy. At the mention of your name every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that you are Lord who reigns in the heavens above, in this world and the world below.

Lord you do wonderous works. Your words are mighty and full of life. Lord you are love. You are the beginning and end of that which is mankind. You feed us when we are hungry. You clothe us when we are naked. You lather us with your holy oil and makes us your chosen generation and royal priests. You set us apart from those who seek the world.

Father you are full of love. You loved us even before we were formed in our mother’s wombs. Before they named us you had named us your children. Before anyone cursed us you blessed us with your son Jesus Christ the way, the truth and the light. When our enemies come for us you place confusion in their heads. When they plot against us you make them fall at their own counsel. When they attack us they fall on the way side for you are our protector.

Lord we are undeserving of you. We are forever grateful for your loving kindness and slowness to anger. Blessed be your name now and forever. Amen
